I've been a full-time professional hair designer for over 20 years. I worked at J.Goldwait Hair Design for the first ten years, and worked for TGF as manager/stylist/colorist for 9 months. I’ve always had a particular passion for hair-color and find it both challenging and satisfying.
New inspirations for coloring techniques and combinations are introduced all the time, especially when the seasons change! Most every class which I attend creates inspiration for new ideas. I still get completely energized when I go to hair shows and classes. It's like my "battery" gets recharged during each one. I could spend every day of my life learning as many of the interesting possibilities which can be viewed by one person... and still not know it all! I am a "Board Certified Haircolorist"... which means I cared enough to prove to myself (and to you)... that I'm fairly well qualified to tackle most any hair-color situation... and I will do my best to preserve the integrity of your hair while achieving the results we've agreed on. Anyone who receives the prestigious ABCH certification, had to pass a very difficult examination by a panel of Certified Master Hair-colorists. I am filled with pride each time I take notice of my certification hanging on the wall of my suite and realize what it means to me and (hopefully) to you. I have experience with many different brands and types of hair-coloring products including those produced by Wella, Matrix, Redken, Joico, Loreal and Farouk.
Presently, I use Redken and Wella permanent hair-coloring products
and Farouk Chi-Ionic non-ammonia hair-coloring products.
The Salons of the Woodlands is the name of the building where my salon is located. The owners keep the building and surrounding area clean and professional-looking. The receptionist/manager is on site Tuesday-Saturday. We’re located in a nice neighborhood just a couple of blocks off from Rayford/Sawdust and I-45. After hours, the doors are locked so you'll need to press the code to my suite number so that I can let you in for your appointment. The code box is located right beside the front door.The Suite: There are about 28 suites in the building. Most of us deal exclusively with "hair", but we have a nail technician and a facialist, too! We are called "Indies" or "Independent Contractors". Some suites are semi-private and some are private. My suite is a private room. The music is easy-listening for a relaxing atmosphere. I keep an air purifier in my suite which helps keep the air fresh and clean.Salons of the Woodlands is located at 25710 Budde Road, The Woodlands, TX. "Hair Design by Lynn" is located in Suite #121. mobile:(281)-507-2432Directions:If you're coming from The Woodlands, and you're on Sawdust Road (facing towards IH-45), turn left (north) onto Budde Road. Go down about 2 blocks. Valleywood Street is the second road you'll pass on the right side of Budde Road. Just past Valleywood, on the right, is Salons of The Woodlands. If you're coming from IH-45 (south of The Woodlands), take the Rayford/Sawdust exit. Take a left at the light (going under 45), to the second light (which is Budde Road). Turn right, go down 2 blocks, past Valleywood Street. Salons of the Woodlands is on the right, just past Valleywood Street. If you're coming from IH-45 (north of The Woodlands or Conroe area), take the Rayford/Sawdust exit. You will see Carrabba's Restuarant on the feter (access road) of IH-45. The street right before Carrabba's is called Valleywood. Take a right onto Valleywood. It dead-ends onto Budde Road. Take a right. Turn right at the first driveway on your right.
